At the heart of this story stood “The Host,” a figure symbolizing unchecked patriarchy. The collection itself unfolded as a synthesis of the restrained minimalism of the early 1990s and the opulent maximalism of the late 1980s. Flowing silhouettes were set against sharp structures, organic textures against meticulous tailoring, and boldness against fragility—contrasts that reimagined the aesthetics of that era through a contemporary lens.

The brand’s iconic Lucite pieces, sculpted by hand, appeared in sherbet tones of mauve and teal emblematic of the early ’90s. These muted shades were fractured by bold graphic gold detailing, giving the accessories a vivid and commanding presence.

Through this presentation, Bittar reflected the spirit of the times with a critical lens and offered a new interpretation imbued with social meaning.
