At the close of summer, OSF team traveled to the forests of Niseko, Hokkaido, to visit the luxury villa SHIGUCHI. Stepping away from the bustle of Niseko, which has grown into an internationally renowned resort, they experienced the quietude of a restored kominka, where nature and humanity, tradition and modernity intersect. This report offers a glimpse into that singular retreat.
