On July 31, Hollywood actress Blake Lively announced her new haircare brand, Blake Brown. The brand will be exclusively available at Target stores and on Target.com starting August 14, 2024.
The initial launch of Blake Brown includes a lineup of eight products, such as shampoos, masks, a styler, and mousse. The prices range from $18.99 to $24.99. While traditional conditioners are not included, the brand offers nutrient-rich hair masks designed to strengthen hair as a post-shower step.
Blake Brown products were developed over seven years in collaboration with Give Back Beauty, a company that supports the development and distribution of beauty brands. The products are based on Blake’s personal haircare regimen and aim to provide healthy, nourished, and strong hair. The brand emphasizes sustainability, using clean, vegan, and cruelty-free ingredients, and aims to minimize waste by incorporating recycled materials.
The fragrances of Blake Brown products are also a significant focus. Inspired by Blake’s favorite scents, they were developed by master perfumers to provide a luxurious and elegant experience.

Blake shared her journey on the brand’s official Instagram, said, “To love it well, I’ve found a system that has worked wonders for me, a hack of sorts through decades of working with the very best people in the industry, and silly amounts of trial and error. I spent 7 years (I know. It toggles between impressive and wtf took so long) obsessively developing every detail of my newest baby, @blakebrownbeauty.”
When asked why she created a new line despite having existing products that worked, Blake said, “I wanted something that was more affordable but had the same salon/red carpet performance.” Blake also explained that she wanted it to be of the highest quality while being clean, vegan, and cruelty-free, formulated without sulfates, silicones, parabens, or synthetic dyes.
With anticipation building, Blake’s fans eagerly await the chance to experience her meticulously crafted haircare line, hoping for its global availability in the near future.
