French biotech skincare brand, Orveda, has expanded into the U.S. market by opening its first flagship store, “La Maison Orveda New York,” in Manhattan’s Upper East Side in September 2024. With this move, Orveda aims to increase its market share by offering innovative skincare products and luxury fragrances.

Founded in 2017 by beauty visionaries Nicolas Vu and Sue Nabi, Orveda is a beauty brand that redefines skincare with highly concentrated active ingredients through biotechnology, following the philosophy of “working with your skin, not against it.”

Since its inception, Orveda has consistently offered clean, vegan, and high-potency skincare products, rapidly gaining recognition in the U.S. market. Last year, the brand recorded a 54% increase in sales through its existing retail channels. Currently available at luxury department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Orveda is set to expand further this fall through new retail partnerships with Cos Bar and Nordstrom.

The new flagship store merges a French brand’s luxury with New York’s elegance, offering its customers a premium experience. The 3,840-square-foot space integrates skincare, fragrances, and art, where visitors can directly experience the cutting-edge biotechnology behind Orveda’s skincare products. The store also features treatment rooms, event spaces, and a dedicated fragrance room, with regular masterclasses and art exhibitions designed to engage customers consistently.

In addition to skincare, Orveda is also focusing on its luxury fragrance line, “INFINIMENT COTY PARIS,” launched in 2023. This collection, consisting of 14 fragrances, combines the rich heritage of its parent company Coty with the latest technology. The flagship store in New York includes a dedicated room for experiencing these premium fragrances, offering customers an exclusive sensory experience.
