Under the leadership of Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli has launched its first-ever retail exhibition in Asia, “Through the Keyhole,” at the Plaza 66 mall in Shanghai, starting on October 18, 2024.

This exhibition, which runs until November 6, 2024, showcases Roseberry’s accessories, jewelry, and haute couture creations, as well as the brand’s ready-to-wear collections.

The exhibition space is designed to evoke the atmosphere of Schiaparelli’s historic salons at Place Vendôme in Paris, with a towering gold keyhole-shaped installation greeting visitors on the ground floor. Textured walls featuring the brand’s iconic anatomical motifs lead visitors through keyhole-shaped entrances into a space inspired by architect Jean-Michel Frank’s distinctive designs from the 1930s. This space fully embodies Schiaparelli’s unique style, allowing guests to experience the brand’s rich history and artistic passion in an immersive environment.

In addition, tour guides share insights into Schiaparelli’s history and works, while a large screen plays videos of Roseberry discussing his creative process and the deeper meaning behind his designs. Exclusive ready-to-wear pieces from the Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 collections are also on display in a private suite, providing visitors with a luxurious and immersive experience.

Delphine Bellini, CEO of Schiaparelli, commented on the exhibition: “This first opus in China is part of our global strategy to extend our international presence, with the same determination to protect the uniqueness and exclusivity of our brand. Few points of sale, but in key destinations and locations: to offer our customers an experience like no other, with partners such as Plaza 66 who share our passion for excellence in customer care, is a wonderful opportunity.”

Currently, Schiaparelli has five permanent retail locations worldwide, including Place Vendôme in Paris, a shop-in-shop at Harrods in London, Bergdorf Goodman in New York, and flagship stores at Neiman Marcus in both Dallas and Beverly Hills. Additionally, in Roseberry’s hometown of Dallas, a holiday-themed pop-up store featuring special accessories will be open at NorthPark until January 31, 2024.
