On November 4, the Aeffe Group’s Alberta Ferretti brand announced the appointment of Alexandra Lamprecht as its first-ever general manager. Working alongside creative director Lorenzo Serafini, Lamprecht will lead the brand’s new phase of growth and will report directly to Aeffe Group head and Alberta Ferretti’s founder’s brother, Massimo Ferretti. This new team structure aims to drive the brand’s expansion and success in the international market.

Lamprecht brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at luxury brands such as Ferragamo, Valentino, and Etro, where she built impressive industry knowledge.

In a statement, Massimo Ferretti commented, “Her professional skills gained during 20 years of experience in the sector, combined with the extremely positive and dynamic attitude that characterizes her on a personal level, will be crucial in guiding the Alberta Ferretti brand into a new phase of growth,” He added, “With Alexandra’s arrival, we complete a highly competent, ambitious, and energetic team that I am sure will write a beautiful new chapter for the brand.”

Expressing her enthusiasm, Lamprecht shared, “First of all, I thank the Ferretti family for the trust they have placed in me. I can’t wait to get to work with Lorenzo Serafini and the entire Alberta Ferretti brand team in kicking off a new phase of growth and development for the brand, enhancing its heritage rooted in the most authentic and genuine vision of Italian luxury.”

As part of the brand’s reorganization, Aeffe Group also plans to integrate the Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini brand into Alberta Ferretti starting from the Fall 2025 season. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening the brand’s appeal and future positioning. Notably, Lorenzo Serafini, who was appointed as the creative director of Alberta Ferretti in September 2024, will present his debut collection for the brand in February 2025, bringing a fresh perspective to its legacy.

Meanwhile, the Aeffe Group has been accelerating its efforts in restructuring and improving operational efficiency, with market insiders speculating about the potential for outside capital investment.

The group’s financial performance has been impacted by slowing consumption in key markets such as Italy and the U.S. Many are now closely watching the nine-month financial report scheduled for release on November 14, 2024, to gauge the future outlook for the company.
