On November 14, the JCA | London Fashion Academy, led by renowned shoe designer Jimmy Choo as a professor, opened the CA Retail Gallery in White City Living, West London. This pop-up store, created in partnership with the Berkeley Group, serves as a showcase for the unique collections of JCA’s students and alumni, offering a creative space to highlight their work.
The gallery will be open for three weeks in November, welcoming visitors Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. With the theme “Reflections,” the space seamlessly merges art and entrepreneurship, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the designers’ bold ideas and creative potential. Guests can not only admire the exhibits but also physically interact with the showcased pieces, experiencing their allure firsthand.
The featured collections span a wide range of styles, from accessories to apparel. For instance, Andreea Pirlog presents ALLANDRÉ, a luxury brand that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. Meanwhile, Eleanor Hunter introduces “Average George,” a playful menswear line inspired by the world of espionage. Additionally, Elle Patricia crafts sculptural garments using upcycled materials, elevating sustainability to the realm of luxury fashion.
Alongside the pop-up store, JCA has also launched an e-commerce platform. This online shop will offer the designers’ collections across the UK, ensuring continued support for young talent even after the physical gallery closes. This initiative aligns with JCA’s mission to provide graduates with at least one retail partner upon completing their studies.
As a vital platform for exploring the intersection of artistic creativity and business innovation, the JCA Retail Gallery sets the stage for the discovery of new talent and paves the way for the future of the fashion industry.
