Italian luxury footwear and accessories brand Santoni has opened a new flagship boutique at 667 Madison Avenue in New York. This new store has relocated three blocks north from its previous location at 625 Madison Avenue.

Architectural Beauty Inspired by the Chrysler Building

Inspired by the geometric forms of the iconic Chrysler Building, this boutique harmonizes modern sophistication with a warm and inviting color palette. Designed by architect and designer Patricia Urquiola, the interior seamlessly blends the brand’s craftsmanship with architectural refinement, creating an immersive and elegant space.

A color palette of orange, terracotta, and rose is enriched with delicate accents of champagne brass, creating an atmosphere that is both soft and refined.
Additionally, Italian marble, including onyx and travertine, is elegantly integrated throughout the space, evoking the sophistication of an art gallery.

An Immersive, Two-Level Shopping Experience

The ground floor is a vast, open space exuding grandeur. A six-meter-high backlit metal grid ceiling reflects light softly, while three-dimensional panel walls create a sense of rhythm and depth.

Footwear, leather goods, and accessories are displayed like curated works of art, accompanied by elegant sofas and armchairs, offering a multisensory shopping experience that engages both sight and touch.

Descending to the lower level, visitors enter a more private and intimate space. The Bespoke Santoni area is designed like a refined lounge, surrounded by mirrors, where clients can experience custom-made footwear tailored to their individual needs.

This level also houses an artisan workshop, featuring a long Rosso Verona marble workbench, where skilled shoemakers repair, polish, and resole footwear—allowing visitors to witness Santoni’s craftsmanship firsthand.

On the occasion of the flagship store’s opening, Giuseppe Santoni, CEO of Santoni, shared his thoughts: “Opening our new flagship in New York, right on our 50th anniversary, is an extraordinary milestone. It was here, in 1997, that we opened our first boutique, marking the beginning of a story of innovation and growth.”

He also commented on the brand’s evolution: “Today, our journey extends far beyond men’s footwear, strongly embracing the women’s and accessories segments.
