On April 3, Polish designer brand Magda Butrym and H&M marked the launch of their highly anticipated collaboration with a dazzling event held at the historic One Hanson Place in Brooklyn, New York. For one night only, the venue was transformed into a floral wonderland, bringing together fashion’s most radiant stars in a celebration of style and femininity.

Among the celebrity guests in attendance were Iris Law, Nara Smith, Irina Shayk, Amelia Gray, and Chloë Sevigny. Surrounded by floral installations and sipping rose-inspired cocktails, guests enjoyed an atmosphere imbued with romance and poetic beauty.

Live performances by Charlotte Lawrence and Kelela added musical depth to the night, while DJs Soo Joo and Fifi kept the energy high. Lawrence wore an elegant silver crochet gown paired with chain drop earrings and rose-detailed heels. Kelela appeared in a pleated black dress featuring a rose accent at the neckline, complemented by floral-shaped crystal earrings—a poetic expression of Magda Butrym’s signature femininity.

Soo Joo sported a modern casual look with a denim bustier, wide-leg jeans, and a printed silk scarf, while Fifi paired a baby pink halter top with tailored black trousers and kitten heels. Each guest brought the collection to life in their own unique way, turning the venue into a dynamic, living runway.

Instead of a traditional catwalk, the collection was revealed through an immersive installation, with guests wearing the looks themselves. Iris Law stunned in a red strappy dress adorned with floral buds at the bust, while Nara Smith wore a ruffled mini dress that echoed a blooming bouquet of roses. Irina Shayk exuded sophistication in sharp black tailoring, and Amelia Gray opted for a long black jersey top and skirt with sculptural floral detailing at the neck.

Valentina Sampaio made a bold impression in a rich burgundy leather trench, while Chloë Sevigny captivated in a rose-printed stretch mini dress—a standout motif of the collection.

Other notable attendees included Gabbriette, Giulia De Lellis, Fil Xiao Bai, Alison Toby, Ana Rujas, Leonie Hanne, and Karolina Ościk-Alama, who brought additional flair to the event with a variety of lace, sequins, bomber jackets, and printed separates.

The soul of the collection is rooted in Magda Butrym’s Slavic heritage, where romance, poetry, and meticulous craftsmanship intertwine in each piece.

Reflecting on the evening, Magda Butrym shared: “I was honoured to see the collection come to life on so many amazing women this evening. My inspiration has always been strong, confident femininity, and this evening was a special and joyful celebration of that.”

Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M, added: “The central motif in the Magda Butrym H&M collection is the rose, so it was wonderful to see Brooklyn in bloom tonight. Magda’s collection is a true celebration of poetry and romance and this event really captured that.”

The Magda Butrym × H&M collection will officially launch on April 24, 2025, online and in select H&M stores worldwide. Expect powerful femininity, romantic silhouettes, and Magda’s unique aesthetic to blossom in wardrobes this spring.
