Soho House, the exclusive members’ club that brings together creative professionals from around the world, is set to open its first Japan location in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo, in early 2026. Membership applications are now open via the official website, with a dedicated Japanese-language site, Instagram, and LINE account launched alongside.
A World-Class Creative Hub in the Heart of Minami Aoyama
Scheduled to open in early 2026, Soho House Tokyo will be located in Minami Aoyama, just a short distance from Omotesando, and will span four floors. The property will feature lounges, restaurants, and bars, as well as a terrace with an infinity pool offering panoramic views of the Aoyama neighborhood. Additional amenities include a wellness studio filled with natural light, an event space suitable for live performances and screenings, and a fully equipped co-working area.
The House will offer 42 bedrooms, thoughtfully designed to blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern sensibilities. Interiors will incorporate parquet flooring, upcycled kimono fabrics, and sakiori-style woven furnishings. Spacious suites with kitchenettes, living rooms, and private balconies will also be available, providing a comfortable environment for both short and long stays.
The interior design reflects Soho House’s signature vintage British style, harmonized with custom-made minimalist Japanese furniture. Warm, refined, and thoughtfully curated, the space is a testament to the brand’s commitment to comfort and aesthetic excellence cultivated across its global locations.
Membership Tiers for Local and Global Access
Membership options include a Local House membership, which provides access exclusively to Soho House Tokyo for ¥505,000 per year, and the Every House membership, which offers unlimited access to all Soho Houses worldwide for ¥620,000 per year. Both plans allow members to bring up to three guests and include preferential rates for events, the pool, and wellness facilities.
A discounted rate is also available for members under the age of 27, reflecting Soho House’s commitment to supporting the next generation of creative talent.
Expanding Global Access Through the Cities Without Houses Program
For creatives living outside the Greater Tokyo area, the “Cities Without Houses (CWH)” program offers a unique solution. This membership allows access to all Soho Houses globally, even if there isn’t a House in your immediate city. In Japan, CWH membership is currently available in Osaka and Kyoto. With an annual fee of USD 4,300, it serves as an ideal option for Japanese creatives working internationally, enabling them to tap into the Soho House network wherever their travels take them.
