OOFOS Launches First-Ever Retail Stores Across the U.S.

On May 29 (local time), OOFOS, a leading brand in the recovery footwear market, announced the opening of its first-ever brick-and-mortar retail stores in the United States. The new stores will roll out between May and June 2025 in three high-traffic, strategically selected locations: Pentagon City in Virginia, Mall of Georgia in Georgia, and Florida Mall in Florida. These retail spaces are positioned to serve as new customer touchpoints, bridging the brand’s DTC strategy and its expanding wholesale presence.

From DTC to Real-Life Experience — A Retail Space Inspired by Pop-Up Success

Since its founding in 2011, OOFOS has steadily expanded its footprint through its own e-commerce platform, Amazon, and a robust wholesale network. Particularly in Japan, the brand has earned early support as a pioneer in recovery footwear, contributing to its growing global recognition.

The decision to open permanent retail stores stems from the brand’s success with pop-up shops across the country, including high-visibility locations like the Boston Marathon finish line area. Insights gained from these activations have informed the design of OOFOS’ new stores, which allow visitors to physically try on products and experience the brand’s proprietary OOfoam™ technology, engineered to absorb impact and reduce stress on the body. These retail spaces are envisioned as immersive environments that deliver the OOFOS experience firsthand.
