On June 10, Condé Nast announced the appointment of Mark Guiducci as the first-ever Global Editorial Director of Vanity Fair. Based in New York, Guiducci will oversee all editions of Vanity Fair published across five countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Spain.
Guiducci has been a key figure in redefining the global visual and editorial strategy of Vogue, where he served as Creative Editorial Director. He successfully launched Vogue’s official TikTok channel, produced the popular podcast The Run-Through, and led iconic events such as the Met Gala and Vogue World, presenting a new vision of luxury tailored to a younger generation.
One particularly notable initiative was the Vogue Vintage Market, held in 2025 to support victims of the Los Angeles wildfires, which raised over $500,000 in aid. His ability to go beyond traditional editorial work—bridging culture and society—signals new possibilities for the future of Vanity Fair.
Condé Nast’s Chief Creative Officer, Anna Wintour, described Guiducci as “a sail that catches the winds of its moment.”
She commented, “That’s the magic of Mark, an energetic and creative editor at the center of his generation and a leader under whom Vanity Fair will grow in ways I can foresee and, no doubt, many ways I can’t. None of us knows what the future will bring—only that Vanity Fair will define it under Mark.”
Guiducci himself called the appointment “the greatest honor of my career.” Having started as an editorial assistant at Vanity Fair 15 years ago, his return to the magazine represents both a homecoming and the beginning of a new adventure.
