One of the World’s Largest Textile Fairs, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn 2025, Set to Open

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics

From September 2 to 4, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn 2025 will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. This season, more than 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions will gather to strengthen global supply chain connections and present the latest trends in textile innovation.

Four Key Themes and Expanded Zones

This year’s edition highlights four major themes: fashion fabrics & accessories, functional fashion, sustainability, and innovation & digital transformation. These will be showcased across nine halls, spanning diverse categories from casualwear and sportswear to lingerie and tailored suits.

The newly established Essential Suits & Shirts Zone brings together suiting and shirting fabrics that combine everyday comfort with quality. Exhibitors include Pakistan’s Mahmood Textile Mills and Kohinoor Mills, both introducing eco-friendly production methods and sustainable weaving technologies.

In addition, the Bespoke Performance Zone in the Premium Wool Hall refreshes the concept of functional suiting. Highlighting the fusion of style, performance, and luxury, Hong Kong designer brand SUIT ARTISAN will present its latest tailored collection.

Global Exhibitors and Group Pavilions

Among the newcomers to Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn 2025 are Itochu Corporation (Japan), Fibrant (Netherlands), and Wendler Einlagen (Germany), each recognized for their expertise in sustainable and high-performance materials. Meanwhile, industry leaders such as Hyosung, Lenzing, LYCRA, and Sorona will gather in group pavilions to showcase cutting-edge textile technologies and innovative fibers.

One of the key highlights is the unveiling of an ultra-fine fiber at the Lenzing Pavilion. Thinner and softer than cashmere, it is expected to be applied widely, from intimate apparel to premium fashion.

Information Exchange and Global Networking

On the first two days, the fair will feature 37 seminars, with speakers from WGSN, HKRITA, and the OEKO-TEX® Association, offering insights into trend forecasting, business strategies, and sustainable solutions.

In addition to buyer delegations from across Asia—including Bangladesh and Vietnam—this edition will also welcome first-time delegations from Brazil and Türkiye, further expanding the fair’s global network.

A Comprehensive View of the Supply Chain

The fair will be held concurrently with Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC, and PH Value, allowing visitors to view the entire apparel value chain, from raw materials to finished products. Attendees will also gain free access to Cinte Techtextil China, held simultaneously at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, creating an efficient opportunity to explore both apparel fabrics and technical textiles in one trip.

As one of the world’s largest textile trade fairs, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn 2025 has evolved beyond a platform for new material launches. It now serves as a hub addressing key industry challenges—from sustainability and digital transformation to shifting lifestyle demands. This autumn edition is set to once again define the direction of global fashion, with Asia at the center of the conversation.
