On September 8, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced that the latest collections of New York Fashion Week (NYFW), taking place from September 11 to 16, will be streamed to the public at Rockefeller Center. This “NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center” marks its second edition following last year’s debut.
Together with Rockefeller Center, CFDA will deliver American collections to consumer audiences with the support of presenting partner Genesys. Rockefeller Center will be the only venue—both physically and digitally—where the public can view NYFW shows. Screenings will take place at iconic locations such as The Rink and Channel Gardens.
Supermodel Anok Yai, along with musical artists Peso Pluma and Young Miko, have been appointed official ambassadors for the event.
On September 10, CFDA Chairman Thom Browne, Michael Kors, and Anna Sui, with the support of Starbucks, will host an opening cocktail event at the Rainbow Room to celebrate the start of New York Fashion Week.
The following day, on September 11, Thom Browne, Genesys Chairman and CEO Tony Bates, Cynthia Rowley, and Willy Chavarria will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially opening “NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center.”
The screenings will feature shows from leading New York designers, including Alexander Wang, Anna Sui, Brandon Maxwell, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and Ulla Johnson, as well as Off-White, Eckhaus Latta, and Collina Strada. Over the course of six days, audiences will have access to a diverse array of Spring/Summer 2026 collections.
Steven Kolb, CEO and President of CFDA, commented, “Since its 1962 founding, the CFDA has promoted the creativity and excellence of American fashion designers. Our streaming partnership with Rockefeller Center continues this mission, bringing the excitement of New York Fashion Week to the wider public.” He also expressed gratitude to Tishman Speyer and Genesys for their support.
