On October 2, Marc Jacobs and A.P.C. released their Fall 2025 capsule collection, inspired by the traditions and collegiate style of the 1980s. Comprising 24 pieces, the collection revisits the cultural backgrounds shared by both brands and reinterprets archival elements drawn from New York and Paris.
A Collaboration Born of Friendship
The project is grounded in a friendship that began in the 1990s between Marc Jacobs and Jean Touitou. Over the years, the creative affinity they developed has naturally culminated in this collaboration.
The collection features both brands’ crests on emblematic items, highlighted by embroidery and embossed details. Pieces include a varsity jacket crafted from wool and cowhide, co-branded T-shirts, A.P.C.’s signature staples such as “THE JEAN,” “THE SKIRT,” and “THE SHIRT,” along with a Marc Jacobs tote bag and a collector’s edition of A.P.C.’s Demi-Lune. The line covers both menswear and womenswear essentials.
Orange accents run throughout the collection—in logos, the collars of canvas jackets, and polo shirt stripes. The color draws inspiration from the “Carte Orange” metro pass used by Marc Jacobs in Paris during the 1980s, as well as Touitou’s Sorbonne student ID, reimagined here as a T-shirt print.
Jeans feature Roman-inspired buttons engraved with the designers’ profiles, blending traditional craftsmanship with a sense of playfulness that underscores the storytelling behind the collaboration.

The campaign was photographed by Nick Newbold and styled by Alastair McKimm, capturing the precision, heritage, and cultural narratives at the heart of the collection.
The Marc Jacobs × A.P.C. capsule collection is now available at Marc Jacobs stores, A.P.C. boutiques, and online at marcjacobs.com and apc-us.com.
