Giorgio Armani Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary with the Special Exhibition “ARMANI/Archivio” in Ginza

Giorgio Armani

Italian luxury house Giorgio Armani marks its 50th anniversary this year. To commemorate the milestone, the brand is hosting a special exhibition titled “ARMANI/Archivio” at Armani/Ginza Tower in Tokyo, running from October 27 to November 16. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the brand’s history and aesthetic through a carefully curated archive that bridges past and future.

“ARMANI/Archivio” — A Bridge Between Heritage and Innovation

Launched in August 2025, ARMANI/Archivio is a project that systematically archives and manages the vast body of work created throughout Giorgio Armani’s illustrious history, preserving the brand’s heritage for future generations. Its digital platform, archivio.armani.com, allows users to trace the creative journey of the house online.

Currently, an accompanying exhibition is also taking place at Brera Art Gallery in Milan, showcasing around 120 archival looks in dialogue with fine art—an experience that embodies the harmony between fashion and art.
