Balenciaga Opens Its Largest Flagship Store in Australia at Westfield Sydney

On October 23, Balenciaga marked a new chapter in Australia with the opening of its largest flagship store at Westfield Sydney.

Designed under the Maison’s Raw Architecture concept, the two-level space embodies Balenciaga’s distinctive aesthetic, showcasing the latest ready-to-wear collections alongside the newly launched Balenciaga Fragrance line, introduced in September. The result is a space where modernity and craftsmanship coexist in perfect harmony.

To celebrate the grand opening, an exclusive exhibition of archival Couture by Cristóbal Balenciaga was unveiled, featuring custom-made pieces created for legendary figures such as Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich, and Annabel Buffet. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to rediscover the Maison’s rich heritage and exceptional craftsmanship, and will remain on view until November 17.

The store also introduces a limited selection of flagship-exclusive accessories, available only in Sydney. Blending architecture, fashion, and art, this new space stands as a testament to Balenciaga’s evolving presence and growing influence in the Australian luxury market.
