Givenchy has released its Spring 2026 campaign, “THE PORTRAIT SERIES II,” created under the creative direction of Sarah Burton. Centered around the season’s theme, “FRIENDS AND MUSES,” the campaign explores the human relationships that serve as the wellspring of artistic inspiration.

Leading the campaign are American actress Rooney Mara and British punk icon and artist Paul Simonon. Captured by photographer Collier Schorr, the portraits highlight the quiet strength and presence of the two talents, while also reflecting the creative synergy that emerges when they come together.

Sarah Burton shared her thoughts on the campaign, stating: “My friends are often my muses, and my muses often become friends. The second in our Portrait Series celebrates this creative relationship with both Rooney Mara and Paul Simonon.”

The dynamic between “friend” and “muse” that Burton describes forms the core narrative of the season, shaping a new chapter in Givenchy’s storytelling. The campaign merges the brand’s inherent elegance with the sensibility of the contemporary art scene, resulting in portraits that are understated yet rich in emotional depth.

The visuals were styled by Camilla Nickerson, with casting by Jess Hallett, hair by Olivier Schawalder, and makeup by Lucia Pieroni. Ferdinando Verderi served as the campaign’s creative director.

As the Spring/Summer 2026 season approaches, the campaign hints at the continued evolution and deepening of the world Sarah Burton is shaping at Givenchy.
