On December 4, ZARA releases its first-ever collaboration with Japanese designer Soshi Otsuki and his label SOSHIOTSUKI, unveiling the capsule collection “A Sense of Togetherness.”
Otsuki, who won the Grand Prix at the LVMH Prize 2025, is one of the most closely watched talents of the moment. This new capsule draws on the nostalgia of Japanese culture from the 1980s and 1990s, exploring universal themes such as family bonds, intergenerational connection, and the enduring nature of human relationships. Spanning womenswear, menswear, and kidswear, the collection fuses SOSHIOTSUKI’s signature delicate tailoring with ZARA’s global production capabilities, resulting in an emotional wardrobe that feels at once familiar and distinctly contemporary.
WOMAN: Nostalgia and Modernity in Fluid Lines
For womenswear, Otsuki reimagines his precise tailoring through soft, curved silhouettes that outline a new kind of elegance. Lightweight fabrics, sloping forms, and color palettes that balance classic tones with modern sensibility all contribute to a look that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly current—an expression of quiet strength that can be passed from one generation to the next.
MAN: A Quiet Evolution of Formalwear
The menswear lineup leans into more structured forms while retaining an underlying sense of ease. By intentionally bringing formal-rooted fabrics into everyday pieces, Otsuki creates a fresh vocabulary through deep draping and three-dimensional cuts, gently unravelling the boundaries of traditional menswear and reshaping them for today.
KIDS: A Gentle Silhouette Born from Personal Memory
Perhaps the most emotional element of the collection is the kidswear. Inspired by Otsuki’s childhood memories of wearing handmade clothes sewn by his mother, the line carries a palpable warmth. That original feeling of closeness is reflected in the silhouettes and fabric choices, resulting in pieces that feel tender, soft, and infused with fragments of memory—hinting at a new chapter for SOSHIOTSUKI.

Otsuki’s approach of intentionally pairing casual silhouettes with formal-rooted materials reaches new depth in this collaboration.
“As always, I paid meticulous attention to the balance of tailoring and the smallest details of construction,” he notes. True to his words, the philosophy of SOSHIOTSUKI is embedded in every element—from the tension of each stitch to the overall calibration of the silhouette. Combined with ZARA’s global production infrastructure, the result is a completely new sense of proximity to high design: elevated fashion that can be touched, worn, and lived with in everyday life.
The “A Sense of Togetherness” collection is available both online and in select Zara stores.
