Asian beauty–focused retailer SUKOSHI has unveiled an ambitious expansion plan for the U.S. market, aiming to operate more than 40 stores nationwide by the end of 2026. The company plans to accelerate openings in major cities and top-tier shopping malls across the country.
Founded in 2018, SUKOSHI has grown into a leading retail destination curating beauty brands from across Asia, including South Korea and Japan. The company currently operates a total of 16 stores across the United States and Canada, and the newly announced plan represents the largest expansion in its history.
New locations are scheduled to open at King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania, Lenox Square in Atlanta, Aventura Mall in Miami, Bellevue Square in Washington, and Garden State Plaza in New Jersey. Each site is among the most prominent shopping destinations in the U.S., underscoring SUKOSHI’s strategy to strengthen brand visibility and market presence through high-traffic retail hubs.
What sets SUKOSHI apart is its approach to Asian beauty retail. Rather than simply following K-beauty trends, the company offers a deeply curated assortment of more than 200 brands, with a focus on skincare and makeup that emphasizes efficacy, formulation, and cultural context. As Asian beauty gains broader distribution through big-box retailers in North America, SUKOSHI has positioned itself as an experiential retail platform centered on discovery and education.

In recent years, the company has also expanded its role as a full-scale brand accelerator. SUKOSHI supports emerging beauty brands by providing integrated access to premium retail space, influencer collaborations, pop-up activations, and North American distribution networks. Through this model, the retailer functions as a launchpad for brands seeking to grow from niche discovery to national retail exposure.
