Luxury maison Bottega Veneta, part of the Kering group, opened a new boutique in New York’s Meatpacking District on December 13. The store is located at 58 Gansevoort Street, further strengthening the brand’s presence in one of the city’s most fashion-forward neighborhoods.

The boutique spans approximately 3,358 square feet. Inside, it offers a wide-ranging selection of the brand’s universe, including men’s and women’s bags, ready-to-wear, shoes, and small leather goods, alongside eyewear, jewelry, fragrance, and travel collections. The space is designed to fully embody Bottega Veneta’s refined aesthetic and identity.

A Space Defined by Materiality and Restraint

The interior design reflects a restrained, minimalist architectural approach that emphasizes material richness and craftsmanship. Concrete floors and walls create a calm foundation, while natural oak shelving and green Verde Saint Denis marble accents on shelves and wall panels add depth and warmth to the space.

Custom-made display cabinets are complemented by furniture pieces by Jorge Zalszupin and Lea Colombo. Adding a subtle reference to the maison’s heritage, a glass vase by Orsoni—founded in Venice in 1888 and still in operation today—serves as a symbolic nod to Bottega Veneta’s Italian roots.

The Fusion of Intrecciato and Art

The boutique also features a dedicated display highlighting Intrecciato, Bottega Veneta’s signature weaving technique. Introduced approximately 50 years ago, the display visually communicates both the craftsmanship behind the technique and the brand’s distinctive color palette.

In addition, the store includes a curated selection of artworks and an in-store library focused on poetry and painting. Featured titles include Robert Rauschenberg’s illustrations for Dante’s Inferno, Etel Adnan’s Between East & West, and Ed Roberson’s Road Poems.

A Presence in a Luxury Retail Hub

The Meatpacking District, where the new boutique is located, is one of New York’s premier luxury retail destinations. The area is home to renowned brands such as Saint Laurent, Gucci, Hermès, Diane von Furstenberg, and Loro Piana. Alongside style-conscious New Yorkers, the district continues to attract a growing number of visitors seeking the latest in fashion and lifestyle, further enhancing its appeal and influence.

Through this new location, Bottega Veneta continues to project its vision—one that merges fashion-driven craftsmanship, cultural sensibility, and contemporary relevance—to an ever-expanding audience.
