On January 22, AMIRI unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 men’s and women’s collection during Paris Fashion Week. This season, the brand draws on its core identity rooted in Los Angeles and its deep connection to music culture, presenting a wardrobe that blurs the boundaries between everyday wear and formality, on-stage presence and off-stage life.

Founder and Creative Director Mike Amiri described the collection as follows: “For me, menswear feels most compelling when it comes across as natural and personal. I’m drawn to the way artists wear tailoring casually—throwing a blazer over a henley, choosing boots instead of dress shoes.”

He continued: “Clothing should feel like an extension of the person wearing it. That balance is the AMIRI ideal. It needs to work on stage while seamlessly blending into everyday life. It shouldn’t look like costume or performance. Decoration isn’t about adding more; it’s like punctuation. It’s about considered detail, harmony, and authenticity. The closer you get, the more the craftsmanship reveals itself.”

Laurel Canyon as a Spiritual Landscape

The key inspiration this season is Laurel Canyon, located in the Hollywood Hills. Once home to film figures during Hollywood’s golden age, the area became, from the 1970s onward, a cultural hub for counterculture, music, and creativity, deeply embedded in the city’s cultural history.

The ethos and atmosphere of the 1970s are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, evolving into a collection grounded in diversity, individuality, and inclusivity. Garments designed to be shared naturally beyond gender boundaries form a central pillar of AMIRI’s Fall/Winter 2026 vision.

Redefining Tailoring and “Lived” Everyday Style

At the heart of the collection is menswear formalwear imbued with an effortless sense of freedom. Inspired by the hybrid wardrobes of artists, the tailoring is conceived for versatility—dressed up during the day, paired with denim at night.

This is not simply a move toward casualization. Rather, it is a proposal to introduce quiet, special moments into everyday life. Clothing is not meant to function as mere attire but as an expression that evokes the personality of the wearer.

In the looks themselves, velvet flocked denim, embroidered knits and cardigans, and signature tailoring paired with slim jeans appear throughout. Embellishment never becomes excessive; instead, embroidery is placed like punctuation, refining rhythm and balance across each look.

Notably, boyfriend suits worn by women and delicately embroidered knits moving fluidly from women’s wardrobes to men’s stand out as emblematic gestures. What emerges is not stylized performance, but a sense of realism rooted in the continuity of lived daily life.

Where Nostalgia Meets Contemporary Reality

A dialogue between craft and creativity—spiritually connecting Laurel Canyon and Paris—also defines the season. The resulting color palette is rich and nostalgic, featuring deep merlot and burgundy, sage and mint green, and vivid blues.

Lightness and elegance coexist effortlessly, whether on stage or off. This duality succinctly captures the mood of AMIRI’s Fall/Winter 2026 season.

The Refinement and Evolution of the AMIRI Language

This season also sees AMIRI’s key design codes further sharpened. Silhouettes remain precise through thoughtful cutting, while the maison’s signature handbags—the Honey and the East-West Pochette Clutch—are reinterpreted.

The eyewear offering expands, and AMIRI’s iconic western boots are reconstructed and updated with a more contemporary balance. Every seam serves both as decoration and as a functional element that defines the silhouette.

The Show Space as an Expression of Intimacy

The show environment itself spoke eloquently to the collection’s message. Furnished with objects and furniture that appear worn and loved, the space evoked a luxurious hideaway within an idealized Laurel Canyon residence.

This was not the illusion of a runway spectacle, but a resonance of lived experience—a reflection of contemporary men and women as they are. What AMIRI presents is not a staged fantasy, but the current expression of American luxury grounded in reality and emotion.
