Burberry Opens New Store in Texas and Pop-Up in California

Burberry, the iconic British luxury brand, has launched a new Texas store and a limited-time pop-up in California.

The new store in Texas is located in The Domain, an upscale shopping center near Century Oaks Terrace in Austin. The Domain is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation through 2025, and this new Burberry store was incorporated as part of that project.

The store interior features fixtures designed by artist Casey McCafferty and rugs by British artist Tom Atton Moore, and is a space where Burberry’s dedication to craftsmanship can be seen.

Meanwhile, Burberry’s latest pop-up has been held at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, through March 14. The pop-up will showcase the brand’s Spring 2024 collection, featuring menswear, womenswear, and accessories by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee.

The displays of the latest collections seen in the pop-up will be replicated in all Burberry stores, and the brand will ensure a consistent, quality shopping experience for customers in every store.

Burberry, which has renewed its brand image and product lineup with Daniel Lee as its new creative director starting with the fall/winter 2023 season, has been in a difficult situation recently as sales have been sluggish. Against this backdrop, the brand intends to improve its presence in the U.S. market through these new two-location retail experiences.

The company also continues to invest in distribution, opening or renovating 33 stores during the first half of 2024, including New Bond Street in London, Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, and Omotesando in Tokyo. Last month, the brand opened a new store on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, reflecting Burberry’s new creative vision.
