From September 2nd to 7th, 2024, during Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo, the 10th anniversary of the TOKYO FASHION AWARD will be celebrated with a special exhibition at Omotesando Hills Space O. This prestigious award has been instrumental in launching the careers of Tokyo-based fashion designers onto the global stage.
The six-day exhibition will feature the works of past award winners, along with the latest collections from the newly awarded designers for 2025. In addition to showcasing these creations, the event will also include talk sessions aimed at providing deeper insights into the designers’ creative processes and inspirations.
On the eve of the exhibition, September 1st, the “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 25 S/S Opening Party” will be held at the same venue, kicking off the fashion week festivities. During the party, guests will receive a 200-page commemorative booklet that reflects on the decade-long history of the TOKYO FASHION AWARD.
The exhibition and related events are open to the public and free of charge. However, pre-registration is required for all events, and early registration is recommended as entry may be restricted due to high demand.
