On May 13, Chanel announced that it will restage its Cruise 2026 collection in Singapore on November 4, 2025. The upcoming show follows the collection’s initial unveiling at Villa d’Este on Lake Como, Italy, on April 29.
Chanel’s Cruise collections serve as seasonless offerings that bridge the gap between spring/summer and fall/winter, traditionally inspired by themes of travel and resort lifestyles.
The debut show was held at Villa d’Este, a historic property built in 1568 by painter, architect, and sculptor Pellegrino Tibaldi. The opulent venue provided a striking backdrop that perfectly aligned with the house’s aesthetic universe. A total of 69 looks graced the runway, including coat dresses in raffia tweed, mini silhouettes paired with cropped jackets, resort ensembles featuring delicate embroidery and layered ruffles, and lustrous eveningwear, evoking a blend of Riviera nonchalance and Parisian sophistication in a summer-ready expression of elegance.
Chanel last staged a Cruise show in Singapore in 2013. The collection, designed by the late Karl Lagerfeld, was presented at the Loewen Cluster in Dempsey Hill, a lush location that once housed a nutmeg plantation. The lineup featured several cricket-inspired looks, leaving a memorable impression.
More recently, the Cruise 2025 show in Hong Kong reinterpreted the brand’s presentation in Marseille, seamlessly integrating the spirit of the new locale into its staging—a creative direction that garnered widespread attention.
While the specific venue for the Singapore reprise has yet to be revealed, anticipation is high for another visually stunning showcase that merges the city’s rich heritage with Chanel’s enduring elegance.
