Dior is currently presenting the exhibition Grammar of Forms in Paris, held at the Rodin Museum in conjunction with the unveiling of its Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture collection. The exhibition runs for one week, from January 27 (Tuesday) through February 1 (Sunday), 2026.
A Dialogue Between Haute Couture and Sculpture
The exhibition brings together a curated selection of haute couture looks designed by Jonathan Anderson, iconic works by the House’s founder, Christian Dior, and ceramic sculptures by artist Magdalene Odundo. By placing these works side by side, the exhibition creates a dialogue between distinct yet interconnected formal languages. Garment, sculpture, and material—each rooted in a different discipline—are reconnected through the shared concept of form.
At the core of the exhibition lies Jonathan Anderson’s sculptural approach to haute couture. His exploration of the relationship between the body and space, the tension and release within structure, and the volumes generated by materiality is presented alongside historical works and sculptural expressions. Together, these elements coalesce into what the exhibition frames as a “grammar of forms.”
Educational Programs and a Forward-Looking Perspective
In addition to public viewing, the exhibition includes a series of educational initiatives, such as public talks and guided tours for school groups. These programs aim to deepen understanding of the world of haute couture while offering creative inspiration to future generations.
