On January 6, Emporio Armani announced the appointment of model and entrepreneur Kendall Jenner as its Global Fragrance Ambassador. The partnership coincides with the launch of the brand’s new women’s fragrance, Power of You Eau de Parfum.
Power of You Eau de Parfum will debut in Europe on January 20, followed by launches in the United States and the Middle East in March, and in Asia in April. For Emporio Armani, the fragrance represents a key release positioned at the core of its next-generation women’s fragrance strategy.
Commenting on her new role, Jenner told WWD: “I’ve always loved Emporio Armani for how it celebrates real confidence and staying true to yourself. The Power of You Eau de Parfum campaign is all about owning your energy and shining from the inside out, and that message just feels so aligned with me.”
Richard Pinabel, Global Brand President of Armani Beauty — licensed to L’Oréal — also explained the reasoning behind Jenner’s appointment: “She’s very connected to pop culture, and has this unique blend of sophistication and elegance.”
A New Chapter in Women’s Fragrance, Building on Stronger With You
Power of You builds on the success of Stronger With You, the men’s fragrance launched in 2017 that became a global hit. Conceived as its female counterpart, the new scent follows a similar strategy, targeting Gen Z consumers and drawing on an influencer-driven model that proved instrumental to the success of the men’s line. The fragrance was personally signed off by Giorgio Armani prior to his passing in September 2025.
The composition opens with a fresh, juicy maracuja (passion fruit) note, accented by bitter orange and lemon oil. At its heart is frangipani, while the base features Madagascar vanilla bean absolute, creating a luminous yet grounded scent profile.
A Campaign Driven by Dance and Energy
The campaign film for Power of You was directed by Gordon von Steiner. Set to Underworld’s iconic track “Born Slippy,” the visual follows Jenner dancing solo and among a crowd, capturing a sense of movement, collective rhythm, and self-expression.
In the film’s closing moment, Jenner delivers the line, “Let’s light up the room,” bringing the campaign to a close. The phrase encapsulates the fragrance’s central message — expressing inner energy and personal presence through both visual and sensory storytelling.
