On March 5, Isabel Marant unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week.
This season’s theme, “A Sense of Togetherness,” evokes a world infused with the spirit of a girls’ gang—an emblematic motif of the brand—walking through the city at night in quiet solidarity. On the runway, a series of confident and free-spirited women appeared, embodying an effortless Parisian attitude that seemed to emerge naturally from the atmosphere of the night.
At the core of the collection are denim and leather, two elements deeply rooted in the house’s DNA. Boxy-cut leather jackets and fur outerwear were paired with washed or distressed denim, forming looks that captured Marant’s signature effortless Parisian style. Knitwear also played a prominent role, with cross-laced knits, driver sweaters, and cable knits appearing throughout the lineup, striking a delicate balance between everyday wearability and fashion-forward sophistication.

The Intersection of Masculinity and Sensuality
Throughout the collection, a style emerged in which masculine strength and feminine sensuality intersected.
Voluminous aviator jackets and oversized leather outerwear projected a sense of strength, while sheer tulle dresses, lace camisoles, and delicately embroidered bustiers introduced a subtle sensuality. Black sheer dresses and silhouettes defined by sharp slits accentuated the contours of the body with lightness, creating an atmosphere where power and intimacy coexist.

Another defining aspect of the season was the seamless transition from day to night.
Silver lurex shirts glimmered subtly beneath tailored jackets, while long evening dresses were layered with rounded bomber jackets, creating silhouettes where lightness and volume coexisted effortlessly.

Color and Craftsmanship
The color palette was anchored by deep tones such as black and anthracite, punctuated by vibrant accents of red and blue that injected movement into the collection. Striking blue dresses and red denim pieces left a particularly vivid impression on the runway.
Materials and detailing also reflected Marant’s craftsmanship. Embroidered denim evoking distressed motifs, blue leather shirts adorned with cut-out lace, and sculpted boot heels finished with a patina effect brought a strong sense of presence to each look.
Snake patterns were incorporated into silk garments and jewelry, reinterpreted as metallic mesh-like textures with a delicate sheen. The result was an elegant interplay between classic references and modern expression—an aesthetic long associated with Marant’s design language.

Marant’s Men Share the Same Night
The show also introduced Marant’s men, adding another perspective to the narrative of the collection. Their looks—bleached denim paired with well-worn suede boots or white sneakers, and leather jackets with exaggerated shoulders—echoed the silhouettes seen in the women’s lineup.
They could be boyfriends, artists, or actors—figures that embody a cool and quietly magnetic presence. Walking the runway like characters sharing the same night, they completed the atmosphere of the collection’s world.

Ultimately, Isabel Marant’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection presented a wardrobe where strength and sensuality, everyday ease and nocturnal elegance intersect naturally. It stands as a reflection of the free spirit and sense of connection that define the modern Parisienne.
