British luxury jeweler Jessica McCormack has tapped singer and actress Zoë Kravitz as its first brand ambassador.
The brand plans to open its first international store on Madison Avenue in New York City in 2025. Kravitz’s appointment is part of a campaign that will precede the brand’s expansion into the United States.
Brand founder and designer Jessica McCormack met Kravitz through a mutual friend at London in 2020.
McCormack said about the appointment of Kravitz, “To have Zoë working with us out of a genuine love for the jewellery and our craft is such an honour. I couldn’t be more thrilled and inspired for the future.”
Kravitz also expressed her delight in working together to create the campaign, said, “I genuinely love Jessica and her jewellery. As two female creatives, we have a mutual love and respect for each other’s work.”
New Zealand-born, London-based McCormack founded her eponymous brand in 2008. Before launching her brand, she worked in the jewelry department of Sotheby’s, one of the world’s leading auction houses.
Modern and elegant jewelry designs characterize the brand and have gained popularity since its launch. It is now worn by many celebrities, including Princess Meghan, who wore a bracelet at the 2020 Endeavour Fund Awards.
At the end of 2023, the brand also opened a second store at 140 Sloane Street in London. The store is located next door to Tiffany & Co. and Cartier.
The two-story Mayfair townhouse-inspired store features jewelry alongside contemporary art, antiques, and special objects, embodying Jessica McCormack’s sophisticated aesthetic.
With its first store opening in New York next year, this British-born brand is sure to win the hearts of many New Yorkers!
