On March 16, French luxury group Kering announced the creation of “Kering Jewelry,” a new entity designed to accelerate the growth of its jewelry business. By integrating its jewelry Houses and manufacturing capabilities, the Group aims to establish a more strategic and unified structure.

Integrating Jewelry Houses and Manufacturing Capabilities

Kering Jewelry will bring together the Group’s jewelry Houses, including Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin. It will also incorporate its industrial operations, notably the Raselli Franco Group, which is currently being integrated.

The Raselli Franco Group, known for its exceptional savoir-faire and advanced technologies, is expected to play a central role within this new platform. By aligning both creation and production, the structure is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of Kering’s jewelry business.

Jean-Marc Duplaix Appointed as CEO

Jean-Marc Duplaix has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kering Jewelry, effective immediately. The CEOs of the jewelry Houses will report directly to him, reinforcing strategic alignment and operational coordination.

Duplaix will also retain his role as Group Chief Operating Officer, continuing to oversee key functions including finance, M&A, investor relations, real estate, digital, and the general secretariat.

A Strategic Growth Platform

Kering Jewelry is conceived as an integrated platform that supports the development of each House while preserving their creative identities. It will focus on advancing iconic collections as well as High Jewelry.

Beyond its existing jewelry brands, the new structure is also positioned to create opportunities for the Group’s Fashion and Leather Goods Houses to expand into the jewelry category. This move reflects a broader strategic effort to generate synergies across the Group.

Kering’s CEO, Luca de Meo, commented: “With Kering Jewelry, we are giving the Group a powerful and cohesive platform capable of supporting our Houses’ ambitions in an area of expertise where creativity and excellence are inseparable. I am delighted with the appointment of Jean-Marc: his experience will be instrumental in unlocking the Group’s full potential in Jewelry.”

Kering is a global luxury group that owns fashion Houses such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, McQueen, and Brioni, while also expanding its presence in jewelry and beauty. This organizational restructuring marks a strategic step to further strengthen its position in the jewelry sector and drive cross-category growth across the Group.
