The Spanish luxury house Loewe has announced that actor Théodore Pellerin has been appointed as its newest brand ambassador. Under the new creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, this marks the first time the brand has named a male ambassador.

Regarding the appointment, Pellerin shared the following: “For me, becoming a LOEWE ambassador is more about alignment than representation. I’ve always been drawn to working with people I genuinely admire and with whom there’s a shared sensibility. LOEWE feels like a place where intelligence and curiosity come first. It’s a House that gives space to personal voice, and that makes the relationship feel natural and meaningful rather than performative.”

The Trajectory of an Actor with Quiet Magnetism

Born in Canada, Pellerin is known for moving fluidly between independent cinema and major productions. He has collaborated with directors including Ari Aster, Eliza Hittman, Xavier Dolan, and Sophie Dupuis, building a body of work defined by subtlety and restraint.

In recent years, he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Lurker (working title), directed by Alex Russell. He also won the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award for Pauline Loquès’ feature debut Nino (working title), for which he was additionally nominated for a César Award. Across film, television, and stage, he continues to cultivate a presence marked by quiet intensity and introspective depth.

Most recently, he completed filming Milo (working title), directed by Nicole Garcia and co-starring Marion Cotillard. He is currently in Rome shooting Cry to Heaven (working title), directed by Tom Ford.

Where Craft and Performance Converge

Speaking on what he recognises in Loewe, Pellerin noted: “There’s a real attention to detail, to the hand, to the time things take. That feels very close to acting.”

He continued: “A lot of the work happens quietly, behind the scenes, but it’s what gives depth and meaning in the end. I’m also drawn to the balance LOEWE has between rigour and playfulness — a seriousness about craft without heaviness. That’s something I try to seek in my own work as well.”

McCollough and Hernandez likewise expressed their resonance with the actor: “Acting, like craft, truly vibrates when all the hard work behind it dissolves — when the effort disappears and a certain playfulness comes through. These are the qualities we recognize in Théodore’s way of bringing characters to life. This natural affinity is something we can’t wait to explore more.”

More than a strategic ambassador announcement, the appointment suggests an evolving dialogue between House and actor — one rooted in shared values. A commitment to craft balanced with openness and experimentation signals the direction Loewe continues to shape under its new creative leadership.
