“LOEWE Crafted World: Where Craft Meets Imagination” to Be Held in Tokyo from March 29

LOEWE’s first major brand exhibition, LOEWE Crafted World: Where Craft Meets Imagination, will be held in Harajuku, Tokyo, from Saturday, March 29 to Sunday, May 11, 2025.
This Japan edition follows the exhibition’s global debut in Shanghai, China, in 2024. The showcase embodies LOEWE’s deep respect for craftsmanship and traces the brand’s evolution from its origins as a leather artisans’ workshop founded in Madrid in 1846 to its present status as a global luxury house.
The exhibition space is designed by OMA, the renowned architecture firm led by Rem Koolhaas. Their distinctive approach to 21st-century design transforms the venue into an immersive and one-of-a-kind experience.
Featuring an interactive layout, the exhibition invites visitors to explore LOEWE’s iconic designs and cultural collaborations, set within environments that evoke the landscapes of Spain and the front row of a Paris fashion show. Notable highlights include LOEWE’s collaborations with Studio Ghibli and the Kyoto-based ceramics studio Suna Fujita.
In addition, the Tokyo edition will feature special installations focused on LOEWE’s cultural and architectural initiatives both in Japan and around the world. These displays delve into the brand’s long-standing dialogue between craft and culture from multiple perspectives.
Admission to the exhibition is free, but advance reservations are required. Ticket reservations open at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 17, 2025, via a dedicated page on LOEWE’s official LINE account. The initial reservation window covers dates from March 29 to April 18. The second reservation window, covering dates from April 19 to May 11, begins at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 11.
To further enhance the exhibition experience, digital content will also be released. Visitors can enjoy a customizable digital toolbox inspired by the ones used by LOEWE’s artisans and access an interactive map to navigate the venue.
