On January 7, Louis Vuitton announced the appointment of professional skateboarder Yuto Horigome as the Maison’s newest ambassador.
Horigome is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading skateboarders, having secured gold medals at both the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Beyond his outstanding competitive achievements, he has earned international acclaim as a global icon of skateboarding, recognized for his innovative style and commanding presence that continue to redefine the sport.
The relationship between Louis Vuitton and Horigome has been steadily cultivated over the past several years. He appeared in the front row at the Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 fashion show held in Paris in January 2024, designed by Pharrell Williams, followed by the Men’s Fall/Winter 2025 show in January 2025. In recent years, Horigome has drawn increasing attention within the fashion sphere, demonstrating an influence that extends well beyond the boundaries of sport.
