LVMH Prize 2025

On February 12, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton announced the 20 brands advancing to the semi-finals of the 2025 LVMH Prize, which will take place in Paris on March 5 and 6. In its 12th edition this year, the prestigious competition attracted over 2,300 applicants from around the world, from which a select group of promising designers have been chosen to compete.

This year’s semi-finalists represent 15 countries, with Egypt, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia appearing on the list for the first time, reflecting the global diversity of cultures and design aesthetics. Additionally, Soshiotsuki (selected in 2016) and Renaissance Renaissance (selected in 2021) have returned for a second chance at the award.

Public Voting on the Digital Platform

The 20 selected brands will present their collections at the semi-final showroom in Paris on March 5 and 6. In addition, the official LVMH Prize website (lvmhprize.com) will host a public voting period from March 5 to 9, where general audiences, alongside industry experts, will be able to vote for their eight favorite designers.

Furthermore, the LVMH Prize Committee of Experts, which includes over 80 international fashion professionals, will play a key role in selecting the finalists for the competition.

Delphine Arnault, Executive Vice President of LVMH, expressed her enthusiasm for the 2025 LVMH Prize, stating: “As the LVMH Prize steps into a new decade, it is my honour once more to welcome some exceptional talents. With this 2025 edition, we are seeing several compelling trends among emerging designers from all over the world, from a renewed interest in tailoring, to handcrafted embellishments and bold occasion dressing.”

Arnault also extended her congratulations to the semi-finalists and expressed her excitement about meeting them and seeing their work in Paris.
