On February 2, Maison Valentino officially announced the appointment of Rei and Liz, members of K-pop girl group IVE, as brand ambassadors. By welcoming two artists who hold strong influence across both the global music scene and contemporary fashion culture, the Maison aims to accelerate its brand expression for a new era.
IVE’s Global Presence and Continued Success
Since debuting on December 1, 2021, as members of the South Korean girl group IVE, Rei and Liz have achieved remarkable success, securing first place on 37 music programs and sweeping rookie awards at major ceremonies including the Melon Music Awards, MAMA Awards, and the Asia Artist Awards.
In January 2023, IVE made history at the 37th Golden Disc Awards with TikTok by becoming the first artist to simultaneously win the Rookie Award, the Main Prize, and the Grand Prize.
IVE’s presence in the Japanese market has been equally prominent. The group has topped the Oricon charts, appeared on NHK’s Kouhaku Uta Gassen, and sold out large-scale concerts. Through world tours that included Tokyo Dome performances and appearances at major music festivals, IVE has firmly established itself as one of the leading artists in Japan.
Rei is the only Japanese member of IVE and is known for her versatility, demonstrating strong expressive ability as both a rapper and vocalist. Liz, the group’s main vocalist, has earned the nickname “Tone Fairy” for her voice, which combines clarity with emotional depth. The contrasting yet complementary personalities of the two artists add depth to the group’s overall expression.
Paris Show Appearance and Looking Ahead
The duo attended Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 “Specula Mundi”, presented in Paris on January 28 (local time) under the direction of Alessandro Michele. At the venue, they wore looks from the Valentino “FireFlies” collection, showcasing styles where modernity and elegance intersected. While each expressed a contrasting individuality, their presence precisely embodied the Maison’s aesthetic, drawing significant attention both inside and outside the venue.
Regarding their appointment as brand ambassadors, Rei and Liz commented, “We are truly delighted to have been appointed as official ambassadors for Maison Valentino.”
