On March 12, French heritage travel goods maison Moynat and Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung unveiled their second collaboration collection at a launch event in Paris.
The collection breathes new life into Moynat’s signature M Canvas through Kasing Lung’s iconic characters — LABUBU, ZIMOMO, and KING MON. The result is a one-of-a-kind lineup where Moynat’s exceptional savoir-faire meets the bold, joy-filled storytelling that defines Kasing Lung’s creative world.
Bags take center stage in the range, spanning tote bags in small, medium, and large, alongside a hobo bag, Mini 48h, and Little Suitcase. Small leather goods — including a card holder, passport cover, and charm — round out the collection, making it equally suited to everyday use and travel.
The launch event was held at Moynat Boutique Rue Saint-Honoré, where the artist himself hosted a meet-and-greet. Guests on the night included Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Theodora Rothschild, Lily Grace Rothschild, Sarah Andelman, Colette Roussaux, Mika Schneider, Noémie Lenoir, and Bibi Zhou, among many others, making for a luminous evening in the heart of Paris.
The event marked more than just a collection launch — it also celebrated the arrival in Paris of Kasing Lung’s exhibition Monsters by Monsters: Now and Then, as well as the 10th anniversary of The Monsters series.
With new releases and special collaborations still to come as part of the milestone year, this Moynat collection is one chapter in what promises to be a landmark celebration.
