On July 22, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) unveiled the schedule for the New York Fashion Week（NYFW）Spring/Summer 2026. This season’s American Collections will officially kick off on Thursday, September 11, with a runway show by Michael Kors, and will run for six days through Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
A Dynamic Mix of Established Names and Rising Talents
The upcoming season features a robust lineup of designers, including long-time NYFW mainstays such as Altuzarra, Tory Burch, and Prabal Gurung. International brands like Off-White, Toteme, and COS are also set to present their latest collections. Marking a highly anticipated return to the schedule is Alexander Wang.
At the same time, the calendar welcomes a fresh wave of emerging designers making their NYFW debuts, including 6397, Amir Taghi, Maria McManus, and SC103—affirming the event’s role as a platform for generational transition and creative discovery.
Finalists of the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, such as Ashlyn, Bach Mai, and Bernard James, will also activate presentations and events throughout the week, offering further visibility to some of the most promising talents shaping the future of American fashion.
