Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 Autumn/Winter to Open on March 16 — Entering a New Chapter in Its 20th Anniversary Year

Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026

Japan’s largest fashion event, Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 Autumn/Winter, will take place over six days from Monday, March 16 to Saturday, March 21, 2026. During the week, a total of 33 brands—including official designers and partnership shows—will unveil their latest collections, once again positioning Tokyo at the center of global attention.

This season marks the latter half of Tokyo Fashion Week’s 20th anniversary year. The annual theme, “Be the Seam of the World,” reflects a clear ambition: for Tokyo to function as a vital junction where global and local, culture and business, tradition and innovation intersect.

Founded in 2005, the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO) has continued to evolve through seismic shifts in society—from natural disasters to the pandemic and the acceleration of digital transformation. Over two decades, the accumulation of collections has built a foundation that supports Japan’s international fashion presence. Now, the vision for the next 20 years is beginning to take tangible form.
