On March 24, Ralph Lauren Corporation announced the next phase of its Global Citizenship & Sustainability strategy, Timeless by Design 2030. The strategy is designed to build on and further advance the company’s longstanding sustainability efforts.

Ralph Lauren Corporation has long been committed to reducing its environmental footprint — from cutting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and lowering water consumption to integrating sustainable materials across its product lines. Notably, the company has met at least one sustainable material criteria in 99% of units produced, a milestone that stands out across the industry. The new strategy takes these achievements as its foundation, opening the next chapter with 2030 firmly in sight.

Four Pillars and Flagship Programs

Timeless by Design 2030 is structured around four pillars, each with clear, measurable goals.

Partner for Impact: Centered on reducing carbon emissions and water use across the supply chain while expanding empowerment and life skills programs for workers. Through its flagship program, Design with Intent, the company will integrate culturally sustainable design into its products and brand storytelling.

Protect Natural Resources: Focused on addressing climate- and nature-related impacts through circular product development and investment in innovative materials. The flagship program, Cotton Stewardship, accelerates the shift toward regenerative and recycled cotton — reflecting the material’s central role in Ralph Lauren’s product portfolio.

Engage & Enable Teams: Prioritizes employee growth and fostering a culture of belonging. The flagship program, Only at RL, captures the distinct experience of building a career at Ralph Lauren — one where every individual feels valued.

Care for Communities: Dedicated to giving back through employee volunteering, philanthropic initiatives, and strategic partnerships. The flagship program, Pink Pony, represents the company’s global commitment to the fight against cancer.

A Five-Year Commitment

Timeless by Design 2030 sets out the company’s priorities for the next five years and works in tandem with its broader growth strategy, Next Great Chapter: Drive.
