Paris Haute Couture Week 2023 Spring/Summer kicked off with SCHIAPARELLI today.
Paris Haute Couture Week Spring-Summer 2023 schedule was officially announced by Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. It will take place from January 23rd to 26th, with 30 fashion brands unveiling runway shows and presentations.
On Wednesday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced the official schedule for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Fall 2023 which will run from February 10th to February 15th.
With the global pandemic caused by the coronavirus calming down, the World’s Fashion Week has also gradually backed to normal to the physical show from the digital. As usual, each brand’s show will be held in major cities of the country in 2023.
On December 12th, Jacquemus presented its spring/summer 2023 collection at Le Bourget Airport, just outside Paris, France.
At the show venue, Blackpink’s Jennie also appeared. She is a good friend and muse to the designer since she attended the Spring 2022 Hawaii show.
On December 6th, Chanel unveiled the 2022-23 Métiers d’Art collection in Dakar, Senegal’s West African capital.
This is the first time that European or US luxury fashion brands have staged a fashion show in sub-Saharan Africa. The venue for the show was the Senegalese capital’s former Palais de Justice (now home to its art Biennale).
