On December 20, Louis Vuitton announced that it will hold a pre-fall show in Shanghai next April.
Taking this opportunity, Louis Vuitton has decided to change the name of its upcoming destination show to Voyager Show. The memorable debut of the Voyager Show will take place on April 18, 2024, at the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai, China, where the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2024 Women’s Pre-Fall Collection will be presented under the direction of Nicolas Ghesquière.
“The Louis Vuitton Voyager Show signifies an embracing of the Maison’s spirit of travel to showcase off-season collections in exceptional and inspiring locations around the world,” the brand said in a release.
Louis Vuitton’s Voyager show aims to foster cultural exchange in various countries through each collection. By hosting the show in Shanghai, following the presentation of the men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection in Hong Kong, the brand seeks to strengthen its ties not only with China but also with the broader Asian market. Previously, the womenswear pre-fall 2023 collection took place at Jamsil Bridge in Seoul, Korea.
The upcoming women’s pre-fall collection will be globally accessible in Louis Vuitton stores starting on May 17, 2024.
