CEO Bastian Daguzan Leaves Jacquemus

Jacquemus has announced the retirement of its president and CEO, Bastien Daguzan. Daguzan has served as CEO since May 2022 and will officially leave the company on December 23.

In a press release quoted by the BoF, Daguzan said, “I would like to thank Simon for his confidence and for the incredible journey we have made together with the team,” “He has always been a huge source of inspiration; I am very proud to have been part of this adventure.”

From the brand’s launch in 2009 until April 2022, the presidency was held concurrently by founder Simon Porte Jacquemus, but the company solidified its formal partnership with Daguzan as CEO in May 2022.

Before his appointment, Daguzan had been involved with the brand, serving as general director of Paco Rabanne and providing expertise as a consultant to Jacquemus. He was also a familiar face at the brand’s runway shows.

Jacquemus thanked the former CEO for the nearly two-year partnership, saying, “Bastien has been the driving force behind the company and its leadership. We wish him well in his new activities.”

The company is growing steadily, achieving sales of 200 million euros ($220 million) in 2022. It has also set an ambitious goal of 500 million euros in sales by 2025 and will continue to need highly skilled management leaders in operations.
