Italian luxury brand Valentino has entered a new partnership with Dover Street Market (DSM), founded by Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe, to mark the release of Alessandro Michele’s first cruise collection, “Avant Les Débuts.”
On June 17, Valentino presented its Resort 2025 collection. This men’s and women’s collection, consisting of 171 looks, is the debut of new Creative Director Alessandro Michele, who took over in April of this year.
On March 22, Valentino’s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli announced his retirement. Piccioli’s successor will be announced shortly.
On January 24, Valentino presented its Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Paris Haute Couture Week.
On July 27, Kering announced that they will acquire a 30% stake in Valentino from Qatari investment firm Mayhoola, the parent company of Valentino, for a cash consideration of €1.7 billion.
Paris Haute Couture Week Spring-Summer 2023 schedule was officially announced by Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. It will take place from January 23rd to 26th, with 30 fashion brands unveiling runway shows and presentations.
