Jacquemus Celebrates 15th Anniversary with “La Casa” Collection

On June 10, Jacquemus presented its “La Casa” collection on the Italian island of Capri, celebrating the brand’s 15th anniversary.

The runway show was held on the rooftop patio of Villa Malaparte, built on a breathtaking cliff overlooking the sea. The Villa Malaparte is where the famous scene from Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 film “Le Mépris” was shot, and having a show here was Simon Porte Jacquemus‘ biggest dream since he started the Maison 15 years ago.

Only 40 guests were invited to the show, including celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Peggy Gou, Arón Piper, and Manu Ríos, as well as friends of Jacquemus.

The models walked in splendor against the backdrop of the blue sea and spectacular scenery, a dreamy expression of Maison’s iconic southern French spirit. The first look of the show began with a cream-colored tufted bathrobe coat, followed by red, cream, jet-black, and white shawl-collar jackets. The show also featured a high-waisted, below-the-knee A-line skirt, fully tailored pants, Bermuda shorts, and a sheer dress with a large slit, highlighting Jackums’ signature minimalism and bold color palette from start to finish.

For the finale of the show, BLACKPINK’s JENNIE appeared as a runway model in a black crepe midi dress. In her hand, she carried Maison’s new light turquoise Le Rond Carré bag with gold hardware, and on her feet, she wore black and white swirled mules. Her hair was styled in a low chignon adorned with silver hair clips, embodying an overall chic elegance.

The “La Casa” collection became available on Maison’s official website immediately after the show.
