On June 16, the Coach Foundation—the philanthropic division of the American luxury brand Coach—announced an additional $20 million investment to expand its flagship scholarship program, Dream It Real, which aims to award 10,000 scholarships by 2030. This initiative further accelerates the brand’s commitment to educational support in North America and exemplifies Coach’s dedication to aligning social responsibility with sustainable growth.
Turning Dreams into Reality: 97% of Scholars On Track to Graduate On Time
Dream It Real is the Coach Foundation’s core social impact program, designed to empower under-resourced youth through college scholarships, mentorship, and access to critical resources. With the new investment, the program is set to expand significantly in scale. Strengthened partnerships with educational organizations such as Bottom Line and The Opportunity Network will enable the Foundation to support more students while enhancing the quality of its assistance.
Most notably, 97% of students participating in the program are on track to graduate on time—an extraordinary achievement compared to the national average of 21% for students from similar socioeconomic backgrounds. Furthermore, 94% of scholars are first-generation college students, graduating with 88% less student debt than the national average. These results highlight the program’s tangible and transformative impact.
As more luxury brands take clear stances on issues such as sustainability, education, and diversity, Coach has positioned itself as a pioneer in educational support. The Foundation’s work goes beyond philanthropy—it has become a strategic pillar that shapes the brand’s core identity.
Todd Kahn, CEO and Brand President of Coach, commented: “This investment represents our unwavering commitment to the young people we support. By expanding programs that have already proven successful, we’re empowering more young people to pursue and achieve their dreams.”
Dream Day: Celebrating the Future with WNBA Athletes
The announcement was made during the Foundation’s annual Dream Day event held on June 12 in New York City. The occasion celebrated the graduation of the program’s first cohort of scholars while welcoming its largest incoming class to date. The event featured a conversation with WNBA athletes Kiki Iriafen (Washington Mystics) and Aneesah Morrow (Connecticut Sun), along with speed mentoring, manifestation workshops, and interactive sessions. The day embodied the spirit of Dream Horizons—a powerful turning point symbolizing both culmination and new beginnings.

A Symbol of Brand Purpose Beyond CSR
Coach’s efforts through Dream It Real represent more than traditional corporate social responsibility—they exemplify the brand’s role as a company that walks alongside society. By tackling educational inequality and building meaningful relationships with young people, Coach is strengthening both brand loyalty and emotional connection with its audience.
