On June 30, Belgian designer Meryll Rogge was announced as the Grand Prize winner of the prestigious 2025 ANDAM Fashion Awards, one of the most prominent honors in the French fashion industry

This year’s award ceremony took place in the garden of the Palais Royal in Paris. Despite the sweltering heat, industry figures gathered to celebrate the creativity and dedication of the finalists.

Rogge will receive a prize of €300,000 along with one-on-one mentorship from Sidney Toledano, senior advisor to LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, and president of the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM).

Guillaume Houzé, president of ANDAM, praised Rogge’s work, stating, “She turned ambiguity, hybridity, and the unexpected into allies, presenting a true masterclass in fashion and contemporary culture.”

Meryll Rogge graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2008. After working at Marc Jacobs and Dries Van Noten, she launched her own label in 2020. Today, she presents her womenswear collections in Paris, and her work is featured in the fashion museums of both Antwerp and Brussels. In 2024, she also became the first woman to win the “Designer of the Year” award at the Belgian Fashion Awards.

The Special Prize, considered the runner-up award, went to Alain Paul, who launched his namesake brand in 2023. He receives €100,000 and mentorship from Toledano.

The Pierre Bergé Prize was awarded to Burç Akyol, whose genderless designs combine sensuality with structural minimalism. He will be mentored by Alexandre Mattiussi, founder and creative director of AMI, and the 2013 ANDAM Grand Prize winner.

The Accessories Prize went to Sarah Levy, who will receive €100,000 and guidance from Sophie Delafontaine, creative director of Longchamp.

The Fashion Innovation Prize had already been announced earlier this year and was awarded to Losanje, a company based in Nevers, France, specializing in circular textile solutions.
