Selena Gomez’s beauty brand Rare Beauty has officially unveiled its first-ever fine fragrance: Rare Eau de Parfum. Known for introducing innovative value to the makeup market with products like the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and Tinted Lip Oil, Rare Beauty is now expanding its brand universe into a new sensory dimension—scent.
Fragrance Composition and Key Features
The new Rare Eau de Parfum is characterized by a warm, sweet base with woody depth and spicy accents. The top notes include caramel, pistachio, and pink pepper; the heart reveals vanilla, ginger, and cocoa beans; while the drydown consists of sandalwood, tonka beans, and skin musks. The scent is designed to evolve over 12 hours, growing deeper and more complex as time passes.
Gomez shared her vision for the fragrance, saying, “I wanted to create a scent that could evolve with the moment,” and added, “from quiet mornings at home to a night out with my friends.”

The fragrance can be worn alone or customized with four fragrance layering balms to create a more personalized scent experience. The balm lineup includes: Amber Vanilla, Floral Peony Blossom, Fresh Bergamot, and Woody Oak. These allow the wearer to adapt the scent throughout the day, from early mornings to evenings out.
In line with the brand’s commitment to accessibility, Rare Beauty collaborated with a certified hand therapist and a team of packaging engineers to develop an ergonomic bottle design. The result is a bottle that’s easy to use for individuals with limited dexterity—demonstrating the brand’s dedication to inclusivity in product development as well as aesthetics.
The fragrance is priced at $75 for a 50 mL full-size bottle and $30 for a 10 mL travel size. It will be available starting August 7 via RareBeauty.com and at Sephora and select global retailers.
Additionally, 1% of global sales from this fragrance will be donated to the Rare Impact Fund, which supports mental health initiatives for young people.
