Rome’s iconic luxury house Fendi has unveiled its latest shearling bags as part of the Fall/Winter 2025-26 women’s collection. Draped in a luminous golden sheen, the series emerged as one of the standout highlights on the runway.

This season’s leather goods embody a kaleidoscope of color and vibrancy, reinterpreting Fendi’s signature codes through a distinctly retro-futuristic lens. Among them, shearling plays a central role, seamlessly uniting tradition with innovation while showcasing the maison’s unparalleled craftsmanship.
The lineup features Fendi’s most emblematic designs — the Peekaboo, Mamma Baguette, and By The Way — each reimagined in lustrous, silk-like shearling. These timeless silhouettes are infused with modern sensibility, striking a refined balance between classic elegance and contemporary flair.
The Peekaboo Mini and Mamma Baguette stand out with their clean silhouettes, elevated by the luxurious sheen of their fur-like finish. Meanwhile, the Peekaboo Soft, equipped with a functional long strap, showcases densely textured shearling across its full body, with a distinctive central panel hand-painted for a unique artistic touch.
The By The Way bag embraces the maison’s heritage by reviving the chevron pattern, a motif that has recurred throughout Fendi’s history. Using two different shearling lengths, the design creates a bold three-dimensional effect. Inspired by the archival fur “Astuccio”, the V-shaped stripes pay homage to the artisanal expertise of Fendi’s renowned fur ateliers.
