Australian luxury brand Dion Lee has appointed James Miller as its new chief executive officer.
Miller, the new CEO of Dion Lee, has served as CEO and Chief Creative Officer of the Collected Group for seven years. Before his tenure at Collected Group, he held executive and management positions at Ted Baker and Ralph Lauren.
In a statement released by WWD, designer Dion Lee stated, “We are thrilled to have James on board leading global brand expansion and strategic growth opportunities as we continue to broaden the Dion Lee brand.”
Dion Lee was founded in Sydney 14 years ago by designer Lee. In recent years, the brand has become a participant in New York Fashion Week, presenting a collection each season. In addition to six flagship stores worldwide, the brand is currently sold in over 200 stores worldwide and continues to expand its scale.
In the future, the brand will look to further expand into several markets through partnerships and stand-alone businesses, following its entry into accessories and footwear.
