On May 27, French luxury conglomerate LVMH announced the appointment of Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou as the new CEO of Fendi.
Angeloglou, currently Managing Director of the LVMH Fashion Group, will also assume the role of CEO of Fendi with this appointment. His new position will begin on June 1, 2024.
Angeloglou is a person with extensive knowledge and experience in the European fashion industry. After graduating from the HEC Paris in 1996, he was the International General Manager of L’Oréal Paris for almost 23 years at L’Oréal SA.
Angeloglou then joined Louis Vuitton in 2019 as strategic mission director for fashion and leather goods. In 2022, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Strategic Missions at the company. In this role, Angeloglou worked closely with Creative Directors Virgil Abloh and Pharrell Williams on Louis Vuitton’s men’s products, women’s accessories, and digital innovation, communications, and events.
Serge Brunschwig, who has been at the helm of Fendi for more than six years, will be given new responsibilities within the LVMH group, and his future role will be announced soon.
